The Life and Training of Aimé Pez
Born in Tournai, Belgium, Aimé Pez was the son of Jean Baptiste Pez and Constance Joseph Cottignie. His artistic journey began under the guidance of Philippe-Auguste Hennequin at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tournai, where he earned the first prize in the nature class in 1827.
