The Life of Patrick Tuohy
Born in Dublin, Patrick Joseph Tuohy was an Irish portrait, narrative, and genre painter. He attended a Christian Brothers school in Dublin and later studied at St. Enda's School under William Pearse. Born without a left hand, Tuohy used a metal prosthesis covered by a black glove to hold his painting palette.
