Born in Galanta, Slovakia, Ivan Pavle is a painter and graphic artist who has dedicated his career to the exploration of the human form. After studying engineering, he transitioned to the fine arts, graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava under the guidance of professors Dezider Castiglione and Ivan Vychlopen. His artistic practice is characterized by a focus on figurative painting, including nudes, torsos, and faces obscured by masks. Pavle’s work emphasizes the movement of the body, gestures, and the complex relationships between multiple characters.
