Later Works and Exhibitions
In his later years, Dupre's work underwent further transformations. Following his return to Germany, his paintings often focused on romanticized landscapes. During the period of the Great German Art Exhibitions in Munich, his works such as Niederrheinische Landschaft and Alte Bäume im Vorfrühling were featured. Toward the end of his life, he returned to Surrealism, pushing the style toward the formless.
