His early education at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School provided him with a solid foundation, but it was his subsequent journey into the world of art that would define his life's path. At sixteen, Brigstocke embarked on studies in London under the
tutelage of Henry Sass, a respected figure in the artistic community.
