early life and education
charline von heyl, a german artist born in 1960, has been making waves in the art world with her abstract paintings. born to a german lawyer and french-born psychologist in mainz, von heyl grew up in bonn and later studied with
jörg immendorff at hochschule für bildende künste hamburg and with
fritz schwegler at kunstakademie düsseldorf.
artistic style and technique
