The Life and Artistic Journey of Wilhelm Dürr the Elder

During this time, he was part of a group including Ernst Deger , Franz Ittenbach , Andreas Müller , and Karl Müller . After returning to Baden due to illness in 1843, he settled in Freiburg, where he married Berta Gruny in 1844 and became a founding member of the Ponte Molle artists' society.
