Kerr Eby was a Canadian illustrator, born in Tokyo, Japan in 1889 to Canadian Methodist missionary parents. He received formal art training at Pratt Institute and the Art Students League of New York. Eby's work is known for its renderings of soldiers in combat during the First and Second World Wars.
