Goode's body of work includes several distinct series that explore different forms and media. His Milk Bottles series, beginning in 1961, featured low-hanging canvases with the faint outline of a milk bottle, often paired with a tangible milk bottle placed on the floor. In 1964, he began the Staircases series, which consisted of physical wooden staircases propped against walls. His Clouds series, produced between 1967 and 1976, included variations such as Photo Clouds, Torn Clouds, and Vandalized Clouds.
