albert joseph moore, İngiliz resim sanatının seçkin isimlerinden biri olarak, 4 Eylül 1841 tarihinde Birleşik Krallık'ın York şehrinde dünyaya geldi. Ünlü portre ressamı william moore ile ikinci eşi sarah collingham'ın on üçüncü oğlu ve on dördüncü çocuğuydu.
