The Life and Art of John Wesley Hardrick
Born in Indiana, United States, John Wesley Hardrick was an American painter who demonstrated a profound talent for art from a young age. He began teaching himself to paint with watercolors at the age of eight. During his youth, he studied under Otto Stark at Manual High School, where he entered drawings into the Indiana State Fair and received several awards.
