nendo is a japanese design firm founded in 2002 by oki sato, who was born in toronto, canada in 1977. sato studied architecture at waseda university in tokyo and founded nendo in the same year he graduated. the company is known for its minimalist design with subtle influences from japanese and scandinavian aesthetics. nendo has won multiple awards and works with numerous brands globally. the current ceo, coo, and cfo of nendo are sato oki, ito akihiro, and hama takaaki, respectively.
