Han Shuli was born in 1948 in Beijing. He graduated from the attached middle school of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1969 and graduated from the postgraduate class of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1982. He entered Tibet in 1973 and has been engaged in fine arts since then. He is currently director of China Artists Association and national first-class artist. He was the chairman of the Tibetan Literature Federation, the chairman of the Tibetan Art Association and the president of the Tibetan Academy of Calligraphy and Painting enjoying the special contribution allowance of the State Council. Since 1986, he has held individual or joint exhibitions in more than 20 countries and regions, such as Paris, Tokyo, Taipei, Toronto, Berlin, Sydney, Cairo, Singapore and Macao. His major works include Bangjin Meiduo, Caiyun Tu (Cooperation), Buddha Seal and Yangguan. In 2009, he undertook the national major historical theme of art creation project: Plateau Xiangyun - Peaceful Liberation of Tibet. He published
