“Grab ‘em By the Ballots” was designed as a billboard for For Freedoms, an artist-led Super-PAC, and was originally installed in the city of Harrisburg, PA during the 2016 election. Zoe Buckman’s arresting image is a call to arms, particularly to women voters. The phrase is a reminder that American citizens have agency in shaping both the political and moral direction of their country. Pussy grabs back, and it can grab ‘em by the ballots.
