A Dynamic Ode to Equine Grace

This magnificent bronze sculpture captures the raw power and elegant movement of a horse in full gallop – a timeless symbol of freedom, strength, and untamed spirit. Crafted using the revered lost-wax casting technique, this piece embodies both artistic vision and meticulous skill, destined to become a focal point within your collection or home décor. The rich patina finish, with its nuanced shades of brown and subtle hints of green from natural oxidation, lends an air of sophistication and authenticity, suggesting years of history even as it graces your space.

      The Art of Lost-Wax Casting

The creation of this sculpture begins with a detailed original model, carefully shaped to convey the horse’s dynamic form. This model is then used to create a wax positive, which is encased in a heat-resistant shell. Once the wax is removed through a heating process – hence “lost-wax” – molten bronze is poured into the resulting cavity. After cooling and meticulous chasing and welding, the sculpture undergoes expert polishing and finishing, ensuring every muscle definition and flowing line of the mane and tail are brought to life with exceptional clarity.

      Texture, Presence & Scale

The tactile experience of this sculpture is as compelling as its visual impact; run your hand across the textured base – reminiscent of earth or pastureland – and feel the powerful musculature of the horse’s form. Measuring 60.0 cm in width, 60.0 cm in height, and 50.0 cm in depth with a substantial weight of 28.00 kg, this piece commands attention without overwhelming its surroundings. It is ideally suited for entry halls, living rooms, or studies, adding a touch of refined artistry to any interior.

      Placement & Preservation

This sculpture is designed as a versatile ornament, equally at home indoors or outdoors in a sheltered location. While the bronze naturally develops a richer patina over time, occasional dusting with a soft cloth will maintain its luster.
