The Life and Career of Jürgen Wegener
Born in Słupsk, Germany, Jürgen Wegener was the son of a theologian and a classical philologist. His work during the era of National Socialism included participation in the Great German Art Exhibitions in Munich in 1934 and 1944. Notably, the oil painting Kindertheater was acquired by the Deutsche Arbeitsfront in 1944. Throughout his career, Wegener was a prolific painter and graphic artist, contributing to the visual landscape through various mediums.
