Born in Rome, Italy, Paolo Salvati was a figurative artist, painter, and draftsman. His creative output spanned several decades, with active engagement in the art world from 1962 to 2012. Salvati’s work often explored landscapes, seascapes, and portraits, frequently utilizing an expressionist style. His subjects ranged from the tangible to the imagined, including works such as Blue Tree, Spring Dreams in High Mountain, and Yellow Mountain. He was also known for creating series like Red Fronds and painting subjects that were figments of the imagination.

In Rome, he participated in exhibitions at the church Trinità dei Monti and the Galleria Alberto Sordi. Between 1977 and 1993, he worked as a portrait painter in Piazza Navona, where he produced miniatures of Roman monuments and landscapes of fantasy, as well as various oil on canvas portraits.
