Ike Taiga’s inscription at the top right reads “After the brush of Guo Zhongshu, Ike Mumei” (Hō Kaku Chūjo hitsu Ike Mumei). Guo Zhongshu, a tenth-century Chinese painter, was known for his eccentric behavior.
