Étienne Maurice Falconet stands as a pivotal figure in the late Baroque, Rococo, and early Neoclassical periods of French sculpture. Born in Paris in 1716, his journey from a humble apprenticeship to becoming one of the most celebrated artists of his time is a testament to talent, ambition, and an extraordinary ability to capture both power and grace.
