His artistic journey began amidst the escalating tensions leading up to the Syrian Revolution, where he honed his skills working for Reuters and The Associated Press, documenting the unfolding events with unflinching honesty and precision. This formative experience instilled within him a profound understanding of visual storytelling as a tool for conveying complex narratives and fostering empathy for those impacted by conflict. Currently residing in France, Salman continues to pursue his passion for photojournalism, collaborating closely with Media In Cooperation & Transition (MICT), an NGO dedicated to promoting media literacy and supporting journalistic endeavors in challenging environments.
