Rabbits
During Nuart 2012, American artist Ron English contributed a psychedelic piece showcasing his well-known rabbit figures on an abstract camouflage-patterned background. Because the wall was located next to a popular footpath for schoolchildren in the area, English decided to contribute a piece that would brighten up their day.Ron English is best-known for his multidisciplinary practice exploring brand imagery, street art and advertising. He coined the term POPaganda to describe his unique blend of high and low brow imagery, mixing pop-cultural imagery with art-historical iconography. English frequently pulls subjects from his ever-expanding cast of characters, including an obese fast-food mascot, demented Disney figures and three-eyed rabbits. The artist
