Henryk Rodakowski: A Life in Polish Art Early Life and Education Born: July 9, 1823, in Kraków, Poland. Rodakowski came from a distinguished family of lawyers, initially following the family tradition by studying law at the University of Vienna between 1841 and 1845. However, his passion lay with art.
