Antonio Sanfilippo
Early Life and Artistic Beginnings Antonio Sanfilippo was born in Taranto, Italy, in 1923. His artistic journey began with studies at the Palermo school of art, followed by training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. This period laid the foundation for his later explorations into abstract and informal art. In 1946, he relocated to Rome, a pivotal move that immersed him in the burgeoning Italian art scene.
