Life and Artistic Journey
Born in Sauerlach, Germany, Florian Bosch was the son of a master carpenter. His artistic exploration later included study trips to Greece, France, and Switzerland.
Bosch was a prominent figure in the Munich Secession and maintained an atelier in the former Schwanthaler-Museum from 1923 to 1928 alongside sculptors Ludwig Kasper and Fritz Wrampe. Throughout his career, he participated in numerous exhibitions, including those at the Glaspalast Munich and the Neue Pinakothek. His accolades included the Albrecht-Dürer-Preis from the city of Nuremberg in 1939 and the Seerosenpreis from the city of Munich in 1967.
