fernando fader, a french-born argentine painter, was born on april 11, 1882, in bordeaux, france. his family relocated to argentina when he was young, and he later returned to europe for artistic training. in 1900, fader enrolled at the prestigious munich academy of fine arts, where he was mentored by heinrich von zügel, a prominent figure in the naturalist barbizon school.artistic career
fader's early work was characterized by his post-impressionist style, which often featured landscapes and rural scenes. his first exhibition at the costa salon in 1906 marked the beginning of his successful career. he later joined forces with fellow artists martín malharro and cesáreo bernaldo de quirós to form the nexus group, which promoted post-impressionism in argentina.notable works and achievements
