choi ji hyung, also known as johnny hates jazz, is a south korean fashion designer born in seoul in 1984. she is the founder of the korean fashion label johnny hates jazz, which is known for its ubercool tailoring and evocation of old-style hollywood glamour. choi ji hyung studied fashion at esmod in seoul and at the university of the arts in london, and has collaborated with designers such as vivienne westwood. her designs are currently mainly available in korea, but her label is growing in popularity and reach.
